It's such a stupid and embarrassing way to hurt yourself. No matter what you stub it on, it's ultimately your fault for not watching where you were walking. It usually doesn't hurt enough to be extremely painful really annoying but hey...
It's just slightly annoying.

#829 The elusive booger
This booger is the master of elusiveness. This little guy clings to dear life when you start digging around and gets out of harms way when the tissue comes out. Maybe if we could spend more time picking our nose in public, we'd have less elusive boogers to constantly bug us and we'd live a little more peacefully.
Sure, even with that booger chilling there, you can breathe well enough. You can tell yourself it's no big deal, you'll forget about it. But you'll always feel that elusive booger, slightly blocking your nasal passage. Get angry, get aggressive, get that booger and obtain freedom. Breathe deep and enjoy your victory and the fresh air.
It's just slightly annoying.

#836 Sweating through a shirt
If you ever want to feel self conscious, go ahead and arrive somewhere important after having trekked through the heat in your gray shirt.
There's nothing like arriving to your job in a shirt that is no longer the same color because of all of your body sweat. You gotta love taking a seat in class wondering how gross people think those stains on your shirt are. Walking seemed like such a good idea! Lesson learned.
Find yourself some air conditioning and don't move for about 15-20 minutes. Your visible sweat stains might just go away, leaving you wondering if that dry sweat is emitting the terrible odor you've begun to smell everywhere.
It's just slightly annoying.

#848 Being itchy after having laid on the grass
Whether it's lounging around in the grass on a sunny day or it's rolling around playing with your puppy, the same aftermath will always occur. The itchiness starts off in just one spot and it's no big deal. Soon, the itch will somehow overcome multiple other body parts until you can't stop itching and scratching all over. It will become impossible to sit still. Was this experience just slightly exaggerated? Perhaps. However...

#856 Not being able to pick your nose in public
We've all seen people hunting for treasure when they thought no one was looking. Is your initial reaction disgust? It might be, but I bet in the back of your mind, you're thinking, "man, I bet that's gonna feel good when that nose is all cleaned out." If that's not what you think, I bet you will now. Wouldn't it be nice to ease your breathing by any means necessary, even if you were in public? Humans have invented all types of tool, but sometimes, a finger is the best tool of all. It's just slightly annoying.

#888 Not being able to touch anything after eating wings
Mmmm...chicken wings. It's amazing that this food's sauce can render our hands useless. After our hands are covered in sauce, we abandon our opposable thumbs and we pick things up with the awkward wrist grab. You know the one.
The awkward "my hands are covered in sauce" wrist grab is simple. Put your arms out straight in front of you. Turn them so that each palm is facing each other. Point your palms straight out in front of you. Pick things up not with your hands, but instead by placing them in between your wrists. Be sure to fumble around with whatever your picking up, dropping it several times and knocking over over things in the process.

#922 Sleeping with contacts in
Sorry to all of you with the blessing of perfect vision, but you may not be able to relate to this one.
Besides the usual daily nuisance that contacts are during the day, they are also slightly annoying for other reasons. Contact wearers of the world, you know what I'm talking about. It's not fun sleeping with contacts in and waking up with painfully dried out eyes, contacts glued to your eyeballs and a feeling of general discomfort. Whatever little fairy that puts those crummy "sleepies" in our eyes at night should also give our eyes a nice little lubricating spritz of refreshment.

#946 The funny bone
There's nothing funny about hitting your funny bone. Whoever named it the funny bone had a pretty sick sense of humor. How did it get such a midleading name? To find out, we turn to the source that has helped write our school papers since 3rd grade. Wikipedia tells us:
This name is thought to be a pun, based on the sound resemblance between the name of the bone of the upper arm, the "humerus" and the word "humourous." Alternatively, according to the OED it may refer to "the peculiar sensation experienced when it is struck."
So, there you have it. It's a pun. Neat. You know what else it is? Painful. When you hit your funny bone, I bet you're not immediately commenting on the irony or the pun. A hit to the funny bone is more likely to be followed by some, uh, colorful words. Wikipedia also tells us that the funny bone isn't a bone at all, it's a nerve! More reasons to be angry when the pain strikes. Thankfully, the pain (accompanied by that weird tingly feeling) is short lived and life moves on.

#959 Having a runny nose
| Take that rhinorrhoea! |
Although its hilarious that the scientific name of a runny nose is rhinorrhoea (citation needed), there is really nothing hilarious about it. No matter the location, situation or circumstances, rhinorrhoea is always a slight annoyance. Thank god our fingers, hands and sleeves can be used never ending tissues.
It's just slightly annoying.
